About the Founder: Bobby Koons
I founded StreetSpring because I kept seeing the same problem over and over again. While walking through Philadelphia one day, I noticed how many storefronts were sitting vacant. At the same time, friends and family who wanted to start restaurants, cafés, salons, gyms, and retail shops were hesitant to take the leap.
What held them back wasn't the work—it was not knowing if a location would actually work.
It made me realize how difficult it is for a new business owner to understand—before signing a lease—whether their business is likely to succeed at a specific address. There are tens of thousands of similar businesses across the country, and no easy way to learn from their outcomes or neighborhood-level performance.
That's why I created StreetSpring, an AI-powered platform that predicts business survivability, revenue potential, and optimal locations for brick-and-mortar businesses. StreetSpring brings together AI modeling, consumer expenditure data, mobility patterns, competitor intensity, walkability scores, and geospatial insights to show business owners and commercial real estate agents which addresses offer the highest chance of long-term success.
My mission is to create what I call The StreetSpring Effect—a measurable rise in the survival rate of new businesses by using AI to help entrepreneurs choose the best possible locations from day one. Fewer avoidable failures. More businesses staying open. Stronger neighborhoods.
StreetSpring gives people clarity where it matters most—the exact address—and helps turn good ideas into lasting businesses.
